2022 Week 10 Term 3
A HAPPY HOLIDAY TO ALL
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL TERM
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the children, parents and staff for a very productive and enjoyable Term Three.
This term, there have been numerous highlights encapsulated with the wonderful spirit continually embraced by our students. We have witnessed this in their enthusiasm for learning; the way they support each other and the dedication to develop their learning capacity and potential, which has given the staff the greatest joy and reward. I am inspired by the number of children attempting new cultural/sporting experiences, choosing to participate in Creative Arts based learning, providing practical ways to support compassionate needs and offering themselves in roles to assist other children and school initiatives.
There is no greater reward for a hard-working staff or no greater pride for parents, who invest so much time, resources and love into nurturing their little people.
May you all have a very happy, relaxing and safe holiday break with your family. See you back at school Tuesday 11 October 2022.

Matthew Adkins
Sad News – This week we received the sad news that Matthew Adkins passed away after a long battle with illness. Matthew's funeral was held today and was a beautiful representation of his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bianca, Banjo & Frankie Adkins, during this very difficult time.
OH WHAT A NIGHT - The Greatest Show 2022
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend "The Greatest Show" but from all reports, it sounded like a fantastic day bringing the school community together.
Over five hundred people attended the matinee and evening performances in our school hall. Both performances were outstanding successes where children, staff and the P & F team worked very cohesively and with great energy and spirit to entertain very engaged and appreciative audiences.
I would like to extend very sincere thanks to:
- Mrs Rachel Moss, Showcase Night Coordinator.
- Miss Sarah from PMPA, our outstanding Dance Instructor and Coordinator.
- Port Macquarie Orthodontics for your sponsorship.
- Hasting Co-op for your ongoing support of school events.
- P & F for the catering and continued support of school activities.
- All the staff that we are so blessed to have as part of the St Joseph's community. Thank you for your wonderful generosity in time and energy to support our little people.
- Parents and carers – for the great support you provided your children in preparation and costuming and being a wonderful audience at both performances.
- OUR LITTLE PEOPLE - We will let the pictures do the talking!
Port Macquarie Dance Eisteddfod
Congratulations to our Elective Dance group who represented the school last night. They performed extremely well and came away with second place.
To the performers, Miss Sarah and Mrs Moss, you are all amazing.
