2025 Week 6 Term 2
This Sunday, 8 June 2025, is Pentecost Sunday.
The Gospel reading for the this week is John 20:19-23.
A powerful quote from this reading is
"Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." (John 20:21)
Afternoon Departure From School - Revised
If you have not completed the Termly Departure form, please do so ASAP.
We are excited to introduce our new School Departure Termly Form – a quick and easy way to communicate your child's end-of-day, pick-up or departure arrangements for the Term. This vital form allows the school to know exactly where your child should be each day, ensuring their safety and a smooth dismissal.
We understand that sometimes plans change or appointments are cancelled; therefore, your child's departure from school will be different from the regular routine. Rather than call the Office, an on-line Compass form will allow you to quickly and easily notify the school of a change to your child's departure plan for the current day only. This means no more last-minute phone calls to the Office, freeing up staff to focus on other essential duties and reducing the chance of miscommunication.
Week 7
Please complete the School Departure Termly Form.
Week 8
Newsletter Article with instructions on using the "Change of Departure Form".
Weeks 9 - 10 Trial
Staff and students will use the departure forms to guide how children go home.
Invitation: Anti-Bullying Information Session
You are warmly invited to an Anti-Bullying Information Session on Thursday June 19, commencing at 5:00 pm in the Ogilvie Hall.
This session is a vital opportunity for us to share important information and strategies on how we can all work together to foster a safe and inclusive environment for the children.
To ensure your children are engaged while you attend, we will provide child minding during the session.
We look forward to seeing you there. Your participation is incredibly valuable in helping us combat bullying and supporting every student.
A Compass note was sent today for you to register for the evening.

As a special memento, we presented Father with a personalised soccer jersey, a gesture which truly touched him.

17 | Conclusion and closing prayer. | AP Mission | PCF Chair | The Jubilee Prayer Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom. May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally. May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever. Amen |
