Parent Community Forum
Last Week's AGM saw a significant transition as we moved from the Parents and Friends Association to the St Joseph's Primary Community Forum. We extend our sincere gratitude to the outgoing committee: Victoria Thrum (President), Rebecca Curtis (Vice President), Ross Walker (Treasurer), and Laurence Fulbrook (Secretary) for their dedication over the past year. We warmly welcome our new executive: Ross Walker (Chairperson), Anna Stavrevski (Assistant Chairperson), Andrew Anderson (Secretary), and Victoria Thrum (Treasurer). We wish the new executive and the Community Forum every success.
RICHTIES IGA
We're excited to announce that our school is now participating in the Ritchies Community Benefit program! This is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for our school simply by doing your regular grocery shopping.
How it Works:
Ritchies Supermarkets offers a program where card members can support a chosen club, school, or charity. By becoming a Ritchie's card member and selecting our school as your beneficiary, a portion of your spending will be donated back to us.
- Become a Ritchies Card Member: If you're not already a member, you can sign up for a free Ritchies card or download the Ritchies app.
- Select Our School as Your Beneficiary: When you sign up or in your existing account, you can choose our school from the list of participating organizations.
- Shop and Scan: Every time you shop at Ritchies, simply scan your Ritchies card or app at the checkout.
- Raise Funds: A percentage of your purchases will be automatically donated to our school.
Learn More:

Thank you for your ongoing support.
Attendance
Consistent school attendance is a cornerstone of academic success and personal growth. Every day a student is present, they gain valuable knowledge, participate in crucial discussions, and develop essential social skills. Missing school can lead to gaps in learning, making it harder to keep up with coursework and potentially affecting future opportunities. Regular attendance also instills a sense of responsibility and discipline, qualities that are vital for success in all aspects of life. By ensuring your child attends school regularly, you're investing in their future and providing them with the best possible foundation for a fulfilling and successful life.
If you are having trouble getting your child to school please talk to your child's teacher.
Congratulations
Congratulations to John Y2 Lasiandra and Chloe Y1 Babo on the birth of their little brother Henry.
